AboutAbout I'm a professional accompanist and piano teacher. Most of my accompaniment work is in musical theater and opera, and my piano teaching is centered on classical music and traditional pedagogy. I regularly work with Appletree Productions as a musical director and with Second Act Productions as an accompanist. I gained a lot of accompaniment experience as a student at Timberline high school in the theater department under the direction of Terry Shaw and Brenda Amburgy. In 2015, I had the unique opportunity to musically direct Timberline's production of the musical "Cabaret", for which I won a Fifth Avenue Award. I hold a Bachelor of Music degree from Pacific Lutheran University where I studied classical music and jazz/contemporary styling under acclaimed pianists Oksana Ejokina and Cassio Vianna, respectively.
